Welcome tp the July 23 Voyager cruise through the Norwegian fjords. I know that my fellow Texans will sign in soon ... we look forward to hearing from MANY more fellow fjordites and fjordinians.

As you already know, I'll be there. Trying to arrive midday or early afternoon on the 22nd - staying at the Marriott - using points, & will hopefully depart late morning, early afternoon on the 30th.
After our chat yesterday, I am just blown away about this small world & the Texas group on this cruise.

John and I here, signing in officially. We're hoping to get an overnight flight from Dallas on July 20th, arriving on the 21st, and have the rest of that day and the 22nd to explore Copenhagen before boarding the Voyager on the 23rd. I'm still monitoring flight alternatives and also haven't booked a hotel yet. I'd better get busy!

A fun note -- Luke and I have discovered that we live only a few blocks apart, and Betty and my husband have discovered that that were at OU the same years and had some mutual acquaintances. Plus Luke and I have worked with some of the same people, and Betty has SMU ties along with me. The connections keep growing every time we chat online. Isn't this board great for bringing people together?

My parents have booked their airfare and will be onboard with us for their first cruise! They are multi-continent travellers and are ready to be spoiled by the RSSC experience.

Three genearations of Davises in the fjords.

We're in two guaranty "G" cabins (triples) and will post cabin numbers when docs arrive.

Anyone other than Texans on this cruise? The more the merrier.

Luke, that's great that you'll have three generations onboard the Voyager. Can't wait to meet all of you. I'm ready right now for the fjords. Wish we could move up the date!

Luke,

Wow, that sounds great to have 3 generations of your family all together on a wonderful cruise!! I am a Texan - guess I can say that now after having lived here for 14 years - but will not be joining your fjordite group this year. Boo Hoo!

But I hope go there next summer! Please tell us all about your trip when you get back. Have Fantastic Fjordite Fun!

Luke,

Two months minus two days now!!!! I can't wait to board the Voyager. We just got back home after a trip to see friends in New England, and now I'm ready to focus totally on Norfor723!

Three weeks from embarkation, docs in hand, excitement building! I'm bumping this up just in case there is someone cruising to the fjords on July 23 who hasn't found this thread. Speak now ....

We set sail TWO WEEKS from today and our group of Fjordites (or is it Fjordinians?) is growing (welcome Jim in Cleveland and Ed in upstate NY). However, since Norway is always heralded as a "must" cruise we KNOW that there are more of you out there who will be with us on July 23. So, let us hear from you.

Count your blessings that you won't be in Geiranger on July 15....because....gulp.... the Queen Mary II will be there. ARGH!

Cheers! Ray
