Kathy, we need to update since so many of us changed rooms. Looks like we are now next door neighbors.

I thought it was just a few of you that moved around. At least Frank and I will no longer be lonely on Deck 6 :app: And we don't steal shoes either!

Very Cool - Kimmi. I think we are going to try to arrange a dinner for the pre-cruisers the night before we cruise!

Lots of people dont have cabin numbers yet so a roll call we can do but cabin numbers wont be available for many yet.

I'm not going to jinx this trip by renewing my roll-call just yet. Our financial advisor is away crunching numbers so that he can tell us if we really should spend this money or not. The drop-dead date for me is January 16th, so if I haven't cancelled by then, I can start serious planning and get really excited. Then I'll also be able to ask my boss for the time off! Booking vacations far in advance has real advantages in a small company--nobody really knows what crises there will be so far in the future, so it's difficult to say no. And he also knows that if he refuses, I might just quit!

Some of us are working like a lunatic until we leave for PIP, so it's the light at the end of the tunnel for us. We always book something to look forward to right after tax season.

Marc - I'm so glad you started this up. I've been dying to start talking about PIP again!!

Wendy - I really hope your adviser crunches good & hard so you can come with us!!! Good luck!!!

Marcie - Sure you don't want to cancel your World Cruise and come on PIP instead? Just kidding!!! Well, only half kidding as I'd LOVE to cruise with you and Tom. You have such an exciting adventure coming up in a few days. But, hopefully you can squeeze in a PG cruise before it's gone.

Kathy - I, too, will be working long and hard until 4/15 as I work for a CPA firm. I'm putting pictures of the PG and Bora Bora at my desk as a constant reminder of what I'll have to look forward to. I'm already planning ahead of what low fat & low calorie stress foods I can munch on at work to get me through the tough times. Anyone have any good suggestions?

I put photo's up by the copier right out of the brochure. Carrots in the office fridge. Rather than eating some of the junk that is quick for an office lunch, I keep the protein bars around. Popcorn is a good munchie. They are much better than grabbing the wrong thing. My trainer had me taking a few (walking) laps up and down the hall last year to be moving every 1/2 hour to get the blood flowing. It was very helpful to keep the stress level down. Maybe we should start a weight loss thread in off topic.

Kathy, an off topic weight loss topic sounds great! John and I are REALLY going to start eating better, effective Monday. PIP will be here before we know it. I definitely need encouragement and suggestions, I hate that four letter D word and usually can't make it through the day without chocolate and junk food. But,my metabolism is finally letting me know IT IS time. Sorry totally off topic!!

Kathy & Kimmi - What a great idea about an off topic weight loss topic!!!! Count me in!! Kathy, I like all your suggestions for snacks. And I want to hear more about the personal trainer.

Kimmi, I have found that since reaching 50 (52 now) the middle age spread is NOT a myth :( :( :( It gets harder every year.

I was so excited I couldn't sleep. Even though I booked back in April, I have tried to keep the trip in perspective, fully expecting that we might cancel it, or half of it.

Now we can start talking about excursions, car-rentals, parties,...??

As you may remember, we are staying 2 days pre-cruise at the new Radisson hotel. So, a bit off the beaten path from the rest of you. We likely will wait to meet everybody until we are on the ship.

There are others who are not LCT posters however after a trip like this they normally start posting. We will have a great time.
