Going by Ngaire's acronym worksheet, I guess I'm a WAA (We Are Alone)(actually an IAA - I Am Alone) :(
With any luck, it'll be so empty, they'll force me to take an upgrade to the Owner's Suite. :D - right...

Phil,
This cruise is now 2 for 1 for Society members...we are looking into this right now...in fact even with the 2 for 1 you get free air...

Marcie,
According to what I have found yes...my husband and I are looking at this...

Did you get a Seven Seas Society letter...what is where I found out about the 2 for 1...I called Radisson to see if the free air was a part of it and they said yes...

Ronnie:

Radisson (Johanna) told me that the 2 for 1 is NOT combinable with the free air.

I guess it doesn't matter for us as we are already booked for the spring.

Well now the answer is no...which actually makes sense...wish I booked this earlier or remembered the name who I spoke with...

Anyway, the 2 for 1 for better than the $599 PP free air from Atlanta...

The back to back that you are planning for next May, I assume that you do not know what the pricing is?

We are hoping to get great group rates from Ngaire. Although, I usually don't book with her, I think her group will be better than my TA. I would contact her when she returns from China. Hopefully rates for 2005 will be known by then. I am just going by the 2004 back to back rates (both during free air period and the dec sailings) to get an idea. From my perspective, the rate for the second week (since we will probably book Cat F or E) is cheaper than pre or post cruise.

Is Ngaire planning to have a group for this back to back? When I check the rate on the web her rate is about 30% less...when you find out, please let me know as I really do not see flying all that distance for 1 week...do you know how Radisson calculates rates when you do a back to back...

This May is probably not good for us anyway as my niece's Bat-Mitzvah is May 21 so we need to be in Miami then...but there is always next year...

From the earlier posts, she is planning on going (21 May sailinng). Every other time I've seen her sail, she seems to have had a group. Maybe Sheri can pipe up since she is the instigator.

Radisson now uses 5% discount for back to back. 2002 it was $1000 off for 14 night and $1500 off for 15+ night back to backs; much better deal especially if you were in the cheap seats.

I will wait on this one and see what happens...have decided that as long as we have a balcony it does not have to be higher category and would not go for a butler again...it was a one time experience (and not worth the additional expense)...

Thanks,

Ronnie

Marc, I think you are talking about PG for May 2005, and Ronnie is talking about May 2004?

Ronnie,
Ngaire and quite a few of us are counting on going May 21(?)'05 with the free air. We aren't doing the back to back though (darn) but many will probably do a pre-cruise stay. It's so far to fly for just the 1 week cruise. Hope you can join us then!

Thanks Marcie, I will keep this in mind...the more I spoke to my husband today the more I think that we might do the May 2004 cruise...it is 2-for-1 and the air is only $599...that is certainly a better savings than free air...

Ronnie,

David and I will be on the May 8 sailing. We'd just love to have congenial company. What can I do to pique your interest? whet your appetite? get you onboard?

Marcie,

So May 21st 2005? Tempting, that day is our 25th anniversary. I was crossing my fingers actually, that they would stick in a Marquesas trip around that day, vain hope I guess.

Would have to do a pre-cruise for sure, or maybe back-to-backs. Wouldn't want to be jet-lagged on my anniversary! Wonder if we could get free air if we did the back-to-back?

Thanks Kathy,

Well at the moment it's just dreaming. But I have June to look forward to on the Diamond.

Thanks for the welcome!
