I am working on excursions for this cruise and wondering if there is anyone interested in sharing guides. We would like to do the trip to Berlin and also a Stockholm "Must See Tour" with Stockholm Selected. Please let me know if you would like to join us (husband and myself) These tours have come well recommended but are better booked as a group.
Cheers, Pam

Ray, Here is the information on the tour. I have sent an email to the company and am waiting for a confirmation. I assume we can have six people, and hopefully another couple will join us. Look forward to meeting you and Penny!

It's pretty obvious I'm either dumb or don't check in often enough (no rude comments please) but I presume BLISS is for 19 June Baltics cruise. Could someone please tell me what it stands for?

My son and I will be on it and could be interested in the Berlin tour if you'd like to post the details. If someone beats me to sharing with you, there maybe someone else out there who would like to share with us, otherwise we'll probably just do the Radisson tour.

Although there are many who highly recommend the trip to Moscow, I'm still trying to get my head around getting on yet another plane.

Pam,

We are on this cruise. We would love to join a private group on a tour of Berlin. Please count us "in" as interested in joining up with you, as long as you can stand the listen to the foreign language we Yanks speak.

Stewart and Lee,

Please let me know if you are still interested after reading this detailed reply from the tour company. I found their name on the "other board" and they came well recommended.

thank you for your inquiry. Since we are well experienced with guests coming
on a cruise ship to Rostock or Warnemünde and visiting Berlin we would like
to give you some first general information.

*********************************

We inform a local transportation company in Rostock or Warnemünde resp. that
a van with driver shall wait at the port for you, taking you to Berlin where
you will meet our guide for the sightseeing tour and to return you to the
ship afterwards.

With us you book an english-speaking guide for a 5 to 6 hour sightseeing
tour in Berlin. Since this is an individual tour you may stop whereever you
want to take photos or for more in-depth explanations of the guide. At the
end of this e-mail please find some first information about what to see on
that day in Berlin.

Total time time for driving and sightseeing is about 11 - 12 hours. Total
cost for the entire group of up to 6 people are Euro 650 including all
taxes. Payment: Euro 290 to the guide at the end of the sightseeing tour in
Berlin. Euro 360 to the driver after return to the ship. Payment in Euro and
in cash only please. If you would like to expand the tour there is an
additonal fee of Euro 20 per hour each for the guide and driver.

Please inform us about the arrival date / time and the name of the ship to
forward this information to the transportation company.

*********************************

If you need any other advice or if you have any particular interests, please
do not hesitate to contact us. Otherwise we may just fix the date, time and
meeting point.

Hope to hear from you - and we would be glad to show you our interesting
city!

Best greetings from Berlin!
Peter Weiss
