If anyone was on the World Cruise in 2007 and has a 5 year Brazil Visa which you used to enter Brazil within 90 days of it's issue, you do not need to get a new one for the 2011 Mariner trip. I checked with ZVS and that's what I was told.

I'm so glad I don't have to send my passport away.

If you got a new passport since you got a Brazilian visa but the visa in the old passport is less than 5 years old, take the old passport along as well and the visa is valid. I've done it twice and it works.

Some one suggested on the "other forum" that checking with Regent would be a good idea. I'll do that on Monday and report back.

Just remember to TAKE the ENTIRE OLD passport with you as well as your new one.
DON'T remove the Visa page as it makes it null and void.

I spoke to someone at Regent today and asked about the Brazil visa - the answer was "ZVS is our agent and what they say goes".

I will believe that and be sure I have the email from ZVS confirming the acceptability of the visa I have in my passport.

Both times I've gone to Brazil with the visa in my old passport it was on the Mariner. No problems at all.

My visa is in my current passport so that's not an issue in this case.
