We are on the 10/7 sailing of the PG along with another couple. We are also doing a 2 night pre-cruise stay. This will be our second time on the PG as we went in 2003 for our 20th anniversary. Anyone else on this sailing?

Hi Steph! You may want to also post this under the "Cruise Roll Call and Acronyms" section of the board.
Where's your pre-cruise stay? We loved the PG; and are so glad you are finding time to sail her once again.
Happy anniversary!
Cheers, Anne

Hi Steph, There are 2 of us over on the CC boards who are going on the same trip that you are. You might want to check that board, as well. It's going to be our 25th anniversary while in Bora Bora! No kids, no carpooling, no jobs.... (can you tell that I'm excited?) 2 day precruise for us at the IC in Papette and 3 day post in Moorea (hey, if we've got the sitter, we might as well use it!)

Karen - welcome to LCT! My husband & I have always preferred to spend at least 2 weeks at any vacation destination that is several time zones away from home. You'll have a wonderful time in FP.

Karen - thanks for the reply. Our pre-cruise stay is also at the IC. We will be celebrating (a month early) our 23rd wedding anniversary. It looks like you are from Colorado - my husband's family is in Denver. If you have not been to FP before it will be quite a treat. Are you on the 1pm Air Tahiti Nui flight from LAX on Oct. 5th? We are going with another couple that live in Orange County - we will fly from SLC that morning and meet up with them at LAX. If you have any questions please feel free to ask. We went on this cruise in 2003 and worried that after all the reading we had done that we were setting our expectations too high - not to worry.

Too funny....I work out of Orange County CA! I don't know what flights yet. Had the TA from "heck" and haven't gotten any information yet. I've not been to Tahiti yet, though I am well traveled. Husband hasn't had the same experiances as I, but he loves cruising and we're both divers/snorkelers. I can't say that I've got questions. I do have very high expectations, though. We've always cruised on "mainstream" lines and are sick of them. Sure hoping that RCCL meets our expectations. Thought that the owners suite on our last trip would have met my expectations, but it was NCL....need I say more? Have you made it to CC yet? Again, there's only one other who's reported in. Karen

That thought occured to me after I posted. According to all I've been told, RSSC will meet your needs/expectations, and more. Oh, hey, welcome to LCT, by the way!
