Hey Gang. I caught up the the World Cruisers on the Voyager in Malaga Spain Yesterday. I thought they could use some moral support and this year's world cruise comes to an end. So I doing the last 10 days from Malaga to Fort Lauderdale. It was fun to see Captain Dag, Betti Bernay, Bob and Barbars, Patrick, Michael and Lars last night. Of course, as a crasher, I am going to find it hard to ger invites to dinner. We will see. So far not to much juicy gossip but will let you know as soon as I get some. more later
PAUL
P.S. The birthday party for Hans was a great success.

Paul, have a grand time. Don't worry about dinner invites. New blood is good, the WC'ers are probably getting tired of each other! Love the Voyager and her crew, have fun!

Well a quick update. We are halfway between Madiera and Bermuda in the middle of the Atlantic Ocean. Many of the World Cruisers have started to pack. They don't like this part of the voyage. I am enjoying some of the new benefits from the Seven Seas Society program. I have free wireless internet in my Suite and two hours of free telephone time to use. I also sent a few things out for free ironing. Soon I will get free laundry. Yippee. The weather on the crossing has been great. Many of the faces from last year's World Cruise are aboard and I have had fun playing catchup and listening to their stories of this years cruise. There are a number of school age children onboard but since they are attending a type of school at sea, we don see too much of them. Michael the Executive Chef is tired but is still serving up food par excellance. Everyone has asked about Marcie and the rest of you who Circles South America in leu of WC06. I have told them that we will all be back for WC07. BTW, if anyone is still thinking of coming along on W07, it is practically sold out. Don't put if off much longer......More later.

Paul, I had missed this thread but glad I found it today! I'm so happy you're having a great time. Reading your post is like daja vu remembering the horrendous packing we avoided tackling until the very end. (you were always more organized than we were!). I know it must be fun sharing stories of our SA trip with those on the full WC.

From what I've heard, the passenger composite on this years' WC is quite different than when we were all on in '06. I know Pat & Dick Joiner and John & Hee Ann Fitzgerald are on the last segment with you (got on in Rome) after completing SA trip.

We LOVED Hans' b-day party. That was such a fun party. When you get home I'll email you photos!! Like Joanna said...there's NO WAY in the world your dance card won't be full everynight! Tell everyone hi for Tom and me!

Keep posting....love the good juice! Did Marc ever find his bracelett?

See you on MUSH!
