Any Canadians out there that know where I can get one of these in Canada? I would order from Amazon but the supplier has a "no return" policy.

Plus, any other tried and true remedies?

Hi, I've not tried here, I've only ever got the simple cuff with the acupressure points on it, and I think I might have got those at the CAA Travel store. Come to think of it, you might try calling them or dropping by. I never used the darned thing. I just carry a package of Bonamine with me, in case. I've only used it once or twice, and that was mainly paranoia, I think. I've been very lucky, even on Voyager this June, which was really rough at times.

I have tried the pressure band and ended up barfing on it. I bought the Relief Band from My Pilot on line and it is great. I get car sick as well as sea sick. There is one stretch of road from Blythe, CA, to Laughlin, NV, that I have always been very, very sick on even to the point of diahrrea. My last three times I have gotten through without any problem at all. I swear by the Relief Band.

I think I replied to Wendy under SAND but am not having luck finding them up North.

The Relief Band is great. West Marine also carries them. I think I ordered mine from Drugstore.com, as mentioned by "popper" above. I don't think there would be any source that would allow it to be returned. So, you might as well order from Amazon or wherever you want. Problem in the U.S. now is not being able to carry-on the contact gel.

I hope the relief band works for you. I bid on mine on ebay. Sadly enough it didn't work for me. I have tried so many motion sickness remedies. The only thing that works for me is to lay down. Good Luck

Ok, so mine arrived. I ordered through Amazon and after what I went through to get them and what I paid, I hope they work. Otherwise, I will have to wear them as Fashion Jewellry or maybe wear them to meetings at work where I occasionally suffer from nausea as well. :)

All in all, it cost me the price of a relief band in Brokerage fees that UPS charges when it delivers to Canada. Had the shipper used Fedex or Canada Post, I would not have had these charges and they were not really clear about this when I ordered the product. I paid the Shipping charge but the $80 brokerage fee charged by UPS was a shock.

There's a couple of us here on LCT that swear by our Relief Bands so hopefully it'll work just as well for you! (especially given the premium that you paid for it!)

Well, I see I will have to acquire one of these at some point when I'm in the States. Sorry it cost you so much to get it, Tina. In general, I don't need it on cruise ships, touch wood. I could use it in vans, buses etc. Last June when we did the private tours with Kathy, Frank, Fred and Pat, I got the front seat all the time, because I just can't sit in the back. That was so unfair, it would be nice to be able to take my turn next time.

I have also recommended this to my granddaughter who is pregnant. It is supposed to be highly affective for morning sickness and she suffered so much with her first child.
