I just looked at the Regent site and saw the above blurb. The Voyager is scheduled leave 10/25/08 from Athens to Monte Carlo.I assume the ports ar still correct but no Captains.
Clearly it isn't happening as advertised . . . odd that it's still on line . . .
Anyone know any more?

Well Jarle had a motor cycle accident and wont be walking again until about January, I heard Dag has hurt his back and Knutt has left Regent.
Quite a mess isnt it, two injured, one gone!

Captain Dag said recently that, yes, he is having some back problems, but nothing he hasn't had before. He plans to meet us on the Voyager for the beginning of the World Cruise in LA on Jan 12. (He didn't say whether or not he would be bringing it to the West Coast from Ft. Lauderdale.)
Although Apollo/Oceania seem to be keen on moving some of their stff onto Regent ships, he has no intenion of doing the reverse.

Not too long ago, Captain Guillou of our marvelous Mariner, was made to retire because he was seventy years old. He then began being a relief captain for Oceania. He is my favorite captain of all Regent.

Love Captain Neil - below is a link to his blog on the Saga Ruby. Periodically will check it out to see what he is up to.
