Glad to see this thread. We are going to do the Sanctuary river boat for 4 nights. So it so good to see some of the logistics and sights we hope to see.
We leave the Navigator in Singapore , fly to Yangoon, one night there, fly to Mandalay and embark riverboat, then leave boat in Bagan for one night, fly back to Yangoon, and reboard the Navigator.
We wanted to see a bit more than the short visit from the ship and this works for us. Fred can stay on boat if tour is too much for him and very glad to hear that the service and food are very good.
I am going to do the ballon ride over Bagan as well.
Thanks for the preview! Jan

Stuff on their faces is a sun screen and they think it reduces wrinkles. Ken wore it yesterday no wrinkle relief.
Jan you are doing the right thing. See as much as you can and in the most comfort. There are stairs so you may be better on deck 2 where reception, the restaurant and where you leave from for excursion. That will make it easier for Fred. No elevator.
Dena and Grant. Rushed now will think about how to do that and get back to you.

The stuff on their faces is face cream, like a sunscreen. They don't rub it in, but leave it in streaks. Some apply more than others.

We have LOVED all your commentaries and the photos are beyond belief. I've never seen cuter children. Have a safe flight home and gets some rest.
Thanks for taking us along on this journey.
