Anybody have a recommendation? Our cruise overnights from the day before. We are 6 needing to be at Arlanda for 6:15 am and 6:30 am flights so too early to leave it to chance re a taxi at the pier. I usually book private transfers via our corporate account w Carey limo, but this time they are telling me I need 2 cars at a cost of over $300 per car! I tried booking thru Viator but am uncomfortable with their statement that they will contact me 24 hours before to advise pick up time.

Helen, I'm not sure which hotel you're staying at but I played around on blacklane.com as if you're transferring from the Hilton to Arlanda with a 4:15am pick up and got a price of 131 euros. Maybe you could plug in your hotel and price it. We used them in Buenos Aires with good success.

Thanks Marcie for the website. Never used them before and will keep that in mind but the biggest vehicle they list has a max of 5 pax. Of course if I got 2 of their vehicles it would still be 1/2 what my current quote is! We actually are on a cruise (RCCL Scandinavia/ Russia) which ends in Stockholm so no hotel. We did this trip with Regent a number of years ago but going this time with family. (10 of us + 3 friends!)

Helen,
I have also used Blacklane in Asia and in Europe. They were always reliable and the rate includes the tip.

If you're within walking distance of the train station, the Arlanda Express runs often, inexpensively and on time.

We used Blacklane in Portugal with great success. Carey was twice the price for us also. .so I decided to use Blacklane. Plan on using the, again in the future.

Only problem it was a larger group so I needed a bigger bus and we had to prepay. Would not take a credit card so had to do,PayPal. Then there was a discrepancy with the exchange rate that caused issues and many emails. I think they normally take credit cards so this may not be an issue in your situation. But the payment was a pain.

Thank for the responses. I found a limo company on a tourist board site with a 7 pax van for $179. I booked that since they are the official limo company for the royal family (what? They can't afford full time driver?) 😃 I will keep Blacklane in mind for future needs tho since even w our corporate discount their prices in Europe are outlandish.
