This article from yesterday's NYT will bring back memories for my recent SHAMROCK cruisemates. See
NYT Norwegian Fjord Article.

By the way, the storms here on Friday night were unbelievable. Almost 500,000 are still without power and the number of trees down was incredible. Last night, most traffic lights were still out of order. Gail's house in Bethesda still had no power this morning. Fortunately, the underground wiring in the District meant that my condo didn't lose power, though COMCAST was out until this morning, so I didn't have communications until AT&T's cellular network was working again. I think it's time to buy a transistor radio.

We appreciate the e-mails from our cruise friends who inquired about our status.
