Have a great time in Dubai--we loved it when we were there for CAMEL. Be sure to go see Ski Dubai and also check out the old Souk for bargains. Our favorite thing in Dubai was the Desert Safari--are any of you going to do that while you're there? We also really enjoyed dinner sailing on Dubai Creek on the Bateaux Dubai and tea at the Burj.

We did not snow ski in Dubai but did sand board down a dune at night on a Desert Safari dinner. Dubai was really interesting and everything has to be the "biggest,best or tallest." We left at 5:00 on our way to Bahrain.

Ditto on the desert safari. I loved that and also loved Wild Wadi.
Has any of the dustiness/brown haze ended yet downtown? In other words, is the skyline pretty again yet?

Deb, the skyline is still clouded in by the desert/construction haze. At times, we were able to get some nice pix of the massive number of tall buildings.
