I cant come up with these names. I need a name for the Navigator, November 21, 2008 Cape Town to Rio cruise.

I also am doing a pre-safari and I need to name that also. Funny thing is they are so used to my nutty names now, ROAR, TUSK, WILD DOG, ROAR 2, the said they want to know the name for this safari. I think they get a kick out of our names.

So all those brilliant minds help me here. We do have enough LCT people on to qualify. A name for the cruise and the safari please.

How about GAME for the safari: Great African Mini Exploration (I'm assuming this safari is a shortened one) if not--mini could become majestic or something.

Wild Dog I did by myself. Mostly non LCT and we are going this July when the Wild Dogs are denning so we have a better chance of seeing them. Doesnt stand for anything it is just the name. See I need help!!

Yes Peggy it is a shortened safari - 3 nights at Madikwe Hills. That is good as is SAMBA.

Anyone think of anything for CHEETAH - along with the wild dogs this is what Madikwe is famous for - both these animals, wild dog and cheetahs are hard to see in Sabi Sands, Kruger

Here is the teapot for the pre-safari. Think of a snappy name and you can add it to your teapot collection!!

Well, Kelly and I were going to think of something brilliant, so we could have the teapot for our boat(lol), but we can't think of anything better than GAME or SAMBA. WE love both of them. Bravo! Helaine

This should inspire you to come up with a name for the Navigator cruise. I am sure that this "Ngaire the mermaid" teapot will become a collector's item!! Name the cruise and add it to your collection!

Collectors item indeed! The "Ngaire the mermaid" teapot is the teapot to beat all teapots Karen! :ch: :ch: :ch:

My bet is on Anne or Fred to win this one. Where are you two with your suggestions?? :D

Mermaid teapot is the "best" - anyone would love to add that beauty to their collection - good luck!

How about reviving a runner up from TUSK for the mini-safari?

SPOTS = Such (a) Perfect Opportunity To Safari!

SAMBA hits the nail on the head IMHO for the Cape Town to Rio sailing. Well done, Suzanne!

Cheers, Anne

Such good ones. With two for the cruise which are both good.

At Peace
Samba

And three for the Safari

GAME
SPOTS
AARP

I think we will vote on these. I like them all no need for more. Just want to make a decision.

This is one of the fun things about this board, in my opinion... "these nutty names" I have tried a couple of times to explain to people that we "name" our trips and most just look at me like I'm nuts. I beleive it was Denise who began this tradition with "VOF," so Denise I applaud you for starting this "tradition" :app: :app: :app: :app: :app: :app:

Ok, since this cruise goes to St. Helena, we could call it Napoleon

N - Navigator's
A - Atlantic
P - Party
O - Or
L - Lets
E - Entertain
O - Ourselves (on the)
N - Navigator

But I really do like SAMBA

T - The
A - African
H - Habitat

Oh shoot those are REALLY good too. Okay we hold those thoughts for another time. Since I posted the poll already. I moved too fast.

In fact it looks like the segment before may have a few LCT'ers too. If that happens these may work well for that segment. They end in Cape Town and most will do a safari post cruise.
