We have started our packing! Are men bringing tuxedos? We are trying to cut down on luggage so I thought I would ask. Cheers, Pam

Bringing tuxedo. Depending on suitcase room and weight, may use regular dress shoes with tux.

Ken - dark suit. I think I can find a "black" outfit with a string of pearls for formal night.

My friend Rich is bringing tux w/ smashing cummerbunds. :app: He's a natty dresser.

Alan's bringing his white dinner jacket (makes my heart beat faster <img border="0" alt="[naughty]" title="" src="graemlins/naughty.gif" /> ). I'm in the "black" Chico's category. We could probably set some kind of record for "number of black Chico's items seen in one place." Maybe if we document it, Chico's will give us all an extra coupon for the next shopping trip.
Oooh, I'm getting silly. Can you tell I'm excited about leaving for this trip?

Tuxedo for me. Every time I bring it, it amortizes the investment a bit. Besides, Judy is making me bring it!

Thanks for all the responses. Tom has decided to bring the tux and skip the navy suit. I will be one of the few that does not bring Chico's. They still have not made petites to fit me so I can't shop there. However, I was able to get a few items at Coldwater Creek so I probably will look like the girls in the black Chico's attire. ;)
Cheers, Pam

Huge discussion today. We never bring tux, but David thought maybe he would. With the weight restrictions (Suzanne alerted me even more today!) and the fact that we have to bring coats, it is only his normal dark suit. I'll find something black, hopefully with a stretch fabric...........

George loves his tuxedo so will bring it. If you keep a notebook, you will see me wearing the same pair of black evening pants almost every night of this cruise and I don't expect any of you to write me a ticket! :)

The problem is that there really aren't any formal NIGHTS on this cruise since we'll only have a couple of hours of darkness on the 24th and none at all on the 29th!

Scott, believe me, just shut those curtains and it will be night for all the hours you want to make it! I am with my DAUGHTER on this cruise, we did it about 3 years ago, and never slept more on a cruise!

I just selected T's Vineyard Vine ties - mermaids, fish, crabs, turtles and palm trees - he is a "tie" guy

Tom decided to go with dark suit only (unusual for him not to bring tux but weight restrictions!) Just got an email from John Barron and he boards the Voyager July 4th....Yippee, it will be great seeing him again. They're so excited anticipating the arrival of Baby Luke!

Another definition to add to the list! Amortize = favorable conditions for getting lucky.
Accounting has rarely enjoyed such favorable press! LOL!!
Or .. do we use the alternate spelling "amorize" :D :woh: Hard to believe it's our first RSSC sailing in 1-1/2 years.
Safe travels to all!
Cheers, Anne

Paul from the Mariner is supposed to be the ACD on FJORDS. Barry recruited him to Regent. He's a great guy and a terrific piano player. We'll have lots of fun with John & Paul. Jim
