Hey Leslie:
Penny and I were talking at bkfst this a.m. about your slide show. Your photos are a given...always super but I also admire your labeling. Do you remember most of what you see or are you disciplined enough to write it down as you go. Penny says it's your memory.

Ray - Andi has the phenomenal memory - I definitely had to try to figure out with a bit of research what church was what - so many onion domes...

So funny what you said about onion domes. I so enjoyed your slide show! But I was thinking "....bet she doesn't need to see another onion dome for awhile". Sort of like a port intensive or land trip to Europe, where you begin to think if you've seen one Gothic Church or fresco you've seen them all! Why I love to vary cruising/travel itineraries.

Thanks for bringing my words to life with your gorgeous photos Leslie. It was great relieving the trip. I also got a bit "iconed" out. Icons were the books of the times and the only way of story telling, but I got a bit bored hearing the religious stories retold to us over and over again. We do have bibles today, after all. Every so often, I just zoned off. Too many facts for even me. Thanks, Leslie, for all three of your photo albums. A picture is worth a thousand words.
