I think they will soon have to give me one of those chairs without arms in Compass Rose. It's obviously the sea air that's the problem! Lee

I'd heard it all the time, 'Live in the moment.' But if I did that, I'd weigh more than a dump truck. Losing weight wasn't about the moment at all; it was about having faith in the future. It was about knowing there would be another meal in a few hours.

Al refuses to weigh himself until he's had a few days of my cooking, which many of you know is no cooking at all. Sure would love to be heading to Compass Rose tonight! Guess we'll have to settle for carry-out from Outback. :mecry:

I can't believe it's over already. What a great bunch of Moosies we had on board, and what a terrific time we had! It was so great getting to know you all. Betty, Lee, Michael, Donna, and Alan, have a drink for the de-moosed among us. We're with you in spirit.

Crystal - I don't need to have a drink for y'all - Betty is doing quite well without me!! Ask her what (or how many) she had for lunch! Lee

It has become a standing tradition on this cruise, and this cruise only, that I have 3 Pina Colodas with lunch. Kim and Alice were with me when it started! All LV wait staff are now aware of how many to bring to Madame Betty's table each day. However, today I only ordered one and there was near mutiny at all wait stands, the Pool Bar, and among the LV managers. So naturally I had to leave the room carrying one in each hand back to my cabin. Life can be so tough at sea!
Now Miss Lee from Aussie land, shall we discuss your Brandy Alexander addiction. :) I have already notified the 12 step program people in Sydney! They will be waiting for you at the luggage carousels. Don't be alarmed. They are "nice" people :app:

Betty is neglecting to tell you she drinks VIRGIN Pina C's - I've heard her whisper the Virgin word to many of the waiters... :D :D

Oh Miss Betty, you are a treat!

Joanna: I didn't hear that word mentioned yesterday! She had all and sundry throwing them in her direction! Maybe they have ulterior motives!

Sounds like you gals are having a grand time - and I know, from much experience, PC's and BA's are the way to go!!!!!!!!! Lee how are the BA's on your cruise? - for me they have been hit or miss but once you find a bartender who can make a good one delicious!!!!!! I gave one bartender personal instructions: vanilla ice cream, lots of brandy and dark creme de cacao thinned with 1/2 and 1/2 and some ice - blend it and top with nutmeg YUMMMMMMMMMMMM

Joanna: I'm so alcohol starved (ever since the Norway cruise I get severe hayfever if I drink) anything would taste good to me. I've been taking a tablet, waiting an hour and hoping for the best! I got nutmeg on my BA last night for the first time. Thanks for your recipe - sure sounds wonderful. I've been asking for a little extra cream and that seems to do the trick. I tried a Golden Dream but was sneezing within ten minutes!

The hot chocolate tastes better with cream on the top too! Bring out the elastic!

I just don't want to know how many calories in a BA! As reported on another thread, the dryer is definitely shrinking my clothes but what a way to go! Lee
