Denise, I hope you and Alan still get to go out for your planned birthday dinner tonight....don't let a little rain stop you! These extended B-days are fun....reminds me of mine on VOF. I loved every moment of it!

Wow, Happy Birthday Denise is now a Hot Topic! Yikes, must be hot due to all the candles we lit this year!
Marcie, we are going out, rain or no rain. We're ex-NYers - Weather doesn't stop us!
Thanks, Betty! But, you spent time with me in LV and know how "evil" I can be!
Ginny/Olivia - We are thinking of the Baltics first. We will most likely consider a 7 - 11 day cruise, depending upon costs. I think a 14 day cruise will be very cost-prohibitive for us. But, you never know.
I believe there was an itinerary Alan was interested in that was Copenhagen-Copenhagen, on, I think, Navigator. I would have to look again.
Now, if only they would post those prices and specials!!

Yes, this is the year my birthday just keeps on giving (however, the gifts have stopped)!
We went to McCormick and Schmick's and had a super dinner. Thanks, Marcie!

Note to Olivia,
I am thinking about the 14 day Navigator cruise in June 2005 - Path of the Vikings. I really want to see as much of the Norwegian coast as possible. It will depend on Jim's work schedule.
Are you looking at that one also?

Thanks, Margo. The good times have rolled me into exhaustion!
Ginny/Olivia
The cruise I had mentioned previously is the Navigator, July 9-20 Copenhagen to Copenhagen. Looks like a very nice itinerary.
There are several choices on the Voyager for the other Baltic cruises we are thinking about.
Check those out. Perhaps they will be of interest.

Ginny, I am looking into so many cruises! It is just a matter of what comes out with the pricing, and what my daughter wants to do. We definitely want to do a land trip to Hawaii, as that got shelved when the Silver Shadow Malyasia special came up. I have offered her several, including the Australia/New Zealand cruise in November, Norwegian Fjords in July (Reykjavik to Copenhagen, Hong Kong to Singapore in March or September, and then another in Asia with China and Japan. Also a couple in Europe, Black Sea and Copenhagen to Reykjavik (mostly Scotland and Iceland). But she can only pick one cruise! To add to the confusion, I got a great brochure from Virtuoso with a fantastic itinerary including land (Beijing and Shanghai) and a 7 day cruise on the new Viking Century Star on the Yangtze River (12 days). This sounded fascinating, and I am going to open a thread to find out whether anyone has done it. After she chooses, I may fill in one by myself if there is a group from here going anywhere(other than Polynesia) on a shorter trip.
