We should go raid their refridgerators and eat all the good snacks they left behind. We can download pay per view movies, run through their house with scissors, drink out of the milk container, and call Siberia on their phones and ask if it's cold....We can have all kinds of fun this weekend!

Oh I know they are having soooooo much fun! I think about the whole group and wish I could be there. So I have to settle for sunny Florida, about 77 today, and just gorgeous day. I shouldn't be complaining - Joanna

Scissors were invented thousands of years ago (roughly 1500 B.C.) in ancient Egypt. Early scissors have been found in ancient Egyptian ruins. These early scissors were made from one piece of metal (unlike modern scissors, which are made from two cross-blades which pivot around a fulcrum). Modern cross-bladed scissors were invented in ancient Rome (roughly 100 A.D.). Early scissors were used by clothes makers and barbers. Scissors were not in common use until much later, in the 1500's (in Europe).

Leonardo Da Vinci but I don't think I would credit him with "inventing" scissors, since he wasn't around in 100 AD

Vegas envy, oh do I have Vegas envy! Like Margo, I'll have to settle for gorgeous weather (Tucson instead of FLA) and tennis. But, I've never been to Vegas and what an opportunity I've missed. Vegas and CC/LCT members too! Oh well. Maybe next time I'll be there too!

Jim B.....very good....just "dealer" instead of salesman.

So, Karen, where did you find the list?
Funny, but I think I've heard at least 8-10 of them at trivia sessions. And, what did you delete, #9? Looks like you'll hit 600 in the next few hours!!
