If we passed out granola bars we would probably be attacked by goblins or something worse!

We will probably get about 100. We buy candy that we don't like so we don't eat any of it! If we have any left at the end of the night, we save it to take with us on our first ski trip and give it to the ski lift operators.

I am hard pressed to think of a candy I don't like, lol. Maybe black licorice would be on that short list ;)

I just caught myself pushing the remaining Butterfingers underneath the Nerds and Sweetarts in the bowl.

I didn't get a one, other than calling my savior Javier over here to check a problem in the basement and he had his son in the car all ready to go trickin' in the neighborhood in his shark costume. I ran inside and came out with 3 Hershey's kisses, out of my grandaughter's stash in my pantry. Otherwise, nary a one just like last year in this same thread!

I ran out of candy so I looked in the pantry and found 3 boxes of Special K granola bars, lol. You get such good advice here on LCT ;)

A grand total of 8 made it to our abode - but three live nearby. NOT ONE rejected the granola bars - Nature Valley Oats 'N Honey!
(Perhaps they thought they were candy bars.)

We have had 56. More than last year. Think there were more parties last year? Its 8:30 here now. Will give it 1/2 hour more and call it a night. Dogs will be happy to be released from "back bedroom boredom". Guess I will have to eat all those Skittles. ---------------- Helen

We had 283 this year and I probably missed about 6 that were here before I got home and walking down the street.

We had heavy rain, so no trick or treaters here. Lucky for me, because I didn't buy any candy. Don't want that stuff in the house.

Zero here - we live at the end of an almost 1/2 mile dirt road, up in the mountains. No kid (or parent) would trek up here on foot after dark. When we were in the Chicago suburbs we had hundreds, but have never had one down here.

A max of perhaps 30 trickered here but was amused by one little girl who drug a rather large plastic laundry basket behind her as she smiled for treats. I just tossed the goodies into her bucket and off she scrapped to the next home. Too funny!
Leftovers will go to my Apple computer trainers and to students at Case Western Univ. Dental School.
Cheers! Ray
