Alan and I have arranged an extra night in Beijing while on the Osaka to Singapore portion of our cruise. Now we need a guide. I tried several times contacting Beijing Jane but have received no response. Do any of you have a Beijing guide that you can recommend?

Andi, we need a guide for the day of Oct.8 and a possible 1/2 day on Oct. 9. Regent is transporting us to and from the ship, but if touring Beijing means that we need a car, then yes a driver and a guide. We will be staying at the Regent Hotel.

Thanks to all. Beijing Jane finally responded and is arranging our tour, either personally or with an associate.

That's great, Donna! If you see Jane, please send her our best. We booked Jane for 3 sensational days of touring in and around Beijing. She and her driver were wonderful. If you have a free night in Beijing, I highly recommend Da Dong for Beijing Duck. The restaurant is stunning and beyond delicious! So good that we did a repeat the next day for lunch!!
