We're taking our boys on the May 23 Mariner cruise. I would like to do 1 fishing trip but we don't have the vacation time to do a pre or post cruise. Does anyone have an opinion about the salmon fishing excursions?
We have done a lot of bottom fishing in the Gulf of Mexico so I thought salmon fishing would be a change. Does anyone know how the fishing is in May?
Thanks for the help.

What a great trip you have to look forward to.
My son-in-law took our grandchildren on a flyfishing excursion from Ketchikan and it was wonderful. The scenery was incredible. I can find out who he booked through - although I know that isn't really what you were interested in.. Y'all have a great vacation.

We booked a salmon fishing excursion with the Mariner last May. We fished in Sitka, with Captain Jim from the ADA. He was fabulous, and so was the catch!!

Perhaps travel cannot prevent bigotry, but by demonstrating that all peoples cry, laugh, eat, worry, and die, it can introduce the idea that if we try and understand each other, we may even become friends ~~M. Angelou~~
