Thanks for the reassurance - we have never used rental equipment (except tanks and weights)but it is a bit of a hassle to lug the gear, particularly when diving is not the sole purpose of the trip. We will probably just bring masks and regs. We have done Pacific diving, but all these sites will be new for us - really looking forward to it.
