Hi Jeanine,

We will actually be spending 2 nights pre cruise at the Tahiti Beachcomber. We have booked cabin 421 again. We considered a balcony and I think 706 was the one that we originally reserved because even back on Setember 1, 705 was already booked. But we decided to do a pre and post instead of the balcony. (We're going to the Moorea Pearl post cruise.) I've read so many port versus starboard posts, I really don't think you'll be disappointed in either. They say it is the sail into Taha'a where it matters the most. Bill and I ate breakfast outside at Le Veranda on the starboard side those mornings (back to back cruises) and had the wonderful views from our breakfast table. True, we could not do this in our robes, but putting on our swim suits and shirts was no big trouble.

Last Saturday we learned that our third grandchild is due probably right near the end of this trip. Now we're in a dilema. We were in Alaska just before the second one was due but she came very late and we were back home in time to take care of the 3 year old. This is what happens when I plan our vacations so far in advance!
