With great disappointment I just hit the "send" button to cancel our cruise. Paula and I have been reviewing our travel budget and priorities and have decided to focus on itineraries that we have longed to travel (e.g., safari, return to Egypt, Greece, and others) and "necessary" trips (i.e., to see our son, Oz, when he studies in Oz next Fall). We have anticipated FUN with great excitement since we booked onboard the Mariner 7 months ago -- such a wonderful collection of people, a relaxing itinerary, and excellent pricing. It's difficult for me to say "no" to travel ... our hearts usually win the battle with our heads. However, we are confident that we will cross paths with many of you in future journeys. I will continue to follow the preparations for FUN and look forward to sailing with you vicariously.
