I agree with you. They are quite good at putting together the right gear for you. It is so nice to be able to just go down from your suite to the sports platform and jump in the zodiac and off to the dive site. Then back and up to your suite for a shower. We just got back from diving off another ship and it is such a hassle to tender to shore, take either a shuttle or boat to the dive shop. Wait to get equipment, get back on a dive boat, out to the site and then having to do all the steps in reverse. The PG just spoils you.
