About your question about the lines for the airport ...

I was also on the March 11 cruise with Luke (I keep meaning to finish that dang TR), and the lines were very short at the airport when we got there at 7pm. We breezed through and sweltered in the terminal for a couple of hours.

I think a big part of why checkin was such a breeze for us is that 1/2 of our ship was a group from Spain. I don't know what travel arrangements the Spanish passengers had for getting home, but it wasn't on that flight. Therefore, the airplane wasn't nearly full (several of us had rows to ourselves which was wonderful). I think on a typical Saturday night, that flight is packed and checkin is MUCH worse. We cruised the PG in 2004 and the lines at the airport were rediculous then - we certainly wished we would have taken a taxi early to beat the rush.

They also appeared to have streamlined the security lines somewhat from our 2004 trip. That may have helped some too.
