Our only dinner at Signatures was formal night, last Saturday. Everything was good, except that they did botch my order. I did not order an entree, just a series of the appetizers...well, they brought me the same appetizer twice and gave one that I had ordered to Elizabeth, my sister in law. Other than that, it was great...but I did hear the horror story that Lawrence related and was stunned! That sort of inconsistency needs to be addressed, fast!
I must say that I thought Latitudes improved greatly, 100% since last March. I was most pleased and very satisfied this time around.
That being said, the Compass Rose is peerless, and I laud both Laurens Hazelebach (the Dining Room Manager) and Tobias Schreiber (the head chef). These two gents are a tremendous asset to the Mariner.
Aahh...dreaming about Pecan Waffles, Crab Eggs Benedict, Grand Marnier Souffles and Weiner Schnitzel already!!!
Perhaps travel cannot prevent bigotry, but by demonstrating that all peoples cry, laugh, eat, worry, and die, it can introduce the idea that if we try and understand each other, we may even become friends ~~M. Angelou~~
