John: I think I read once in a "Passages" that the head of security on our ship was a retired "person" from the Philippine Army. To speculate further as to why could just bring up a whole debate not related to cruising (although it would be). I think the better thing is to slice limes and be with the passengers, better yet, be part of the entertainment like Marcie said!
