The thread on CC leads to a posting on Seatrade (which is a register-to-get-access site generally limited to cruise industry "insiders") reporting that Christian Sauleau, who was Executive Vice President - Operations at Regent for 10 years has resigned. It credited Sauleau with guiding construction of all three Seven Seas ships as well as Regent's partnerships with Le Cordon Bleu and with Jean Michel Cousteau. The CC thread goes on to speculate about possible changes as the result of the Apollo purchase, for example, merger of Regent and Oceania, etc. Quite interesting and worth a read for those concerned about the impact of the Apollo/Prestige Cruise changes from Carlson ownership.
