Greetings All and forgive my intermittent postings (I tend to lurk most of the time).

Anyway, Keith and I are both dancing fanatically over our recently received docs for the Mariner Christmas cruise (thus the double doc reference). We have learned that there will be 2 formal nights. Keith says that is one for his new tux and one for the kilt! I just say wahoo!

With regard to earlier discussions about online booking of excursions, we had read on this board that sometimes those online registrations are not known aboard ship. To avoid disappointment, I did as suggested and called RSSC directly to check out our situation. No worries that the dive in GCayman will close out, but Uxmal might. We just want to make sure our spots are reserved.

The RSSC rep was unable to confirm our reservations, but checked with someone else and returned (after a thankfully SHORT time on hold) to say that we should not fax the excursion sheet that came with the docs, but simply bring our online confirmation with us just in case of a snafu. In this way, even if our trips are full, our spots are secure. This is good to know.

If anyone, Marc?, has been on this sailing, please let us know some of the joys that await us! The information about the gift that will be waiting for us when we get home has already been relayed and we're thrilled.

I have some specific questions about Mariner staffing which I'll post separately.

Happy Thanksgiving to you wherever you are!
Cheers! <img border="0" alt="[vhappy]" title="" src="graemlins/icon_vhappy.gif" />
