jhp, we did the off-road on Moorea as well, booked through the PG, when we were there in 2003. And yes, the "high point" was definitely that great view from the top of that pinnacle, overlooking the bay. Although if you are prone to motion sickness, take some drugs first. And take some insect repellent.

The trip also took us to the agricultural research station, which I enjoyed, and the marae, and we had a great pareo tying demonstration at the Belvedere. I remember our guide, who was very entertaining, one of those big burly Polynesians, very outgoing and funny.
