Marcie, We embark in Rio on 12/4. Looks like we might finally get to meet! What are you planning for your overnight in Rio? We are planning on arriving a couple of days early and hiring a private tour guide (need to start working on this) to see Rio due to the safety concerns of the area. Possibly see a samba show. We're really looking forward to this itinerary -- not too port intensive with a good sprinkling of relaxing sea days.
