Barcelona is gorgeous. There is a lot to see. Like any big city it is crowded but an extra 14,000 people will not make a dent. You could wander the Rambles and walk around the old part of the city.
Also, don’t miss Gaudi’s cathedral, La Sagrada Familia, which is over the top. It is unique and not to be missed. It reminds me of a huge sand castle.
The only caution is to be aware of pickpockets, but common sense measures will protect you.
