Wow, Seg 2 is over and I didn't even tell you how great seg.1 went.... I am the worlds worst writer, so I'll keep this short.
Our Stewardess was the best ever , we had cabin 645. mid ship, never any motion(of course the seg. had very calm seas),,
The food was good, has been better, this was our third cruise with Dana and Jamie, we really like them-nothing fake about them just a real down to earth couple.
We loved all the sea days, others didn't.
It was wonderful to meet Tom and Marci......
The ship had a beginners bridge class, you would have to be on the full world cruise, but got some of the basics..
The ports were fine with us, we've been to Tahiti several time, and love it there, Bay of Islands was so beautiful in New Zealand.
When we left the ship in Auckland, we spent 9-wonderful days driving around the north island.. We stayed two nights at the Bay of Islands, and wish we had stayed there at least a week...
While driving(I didn't) in New Zealand , I would see somthing beautiful and tell Dennis to look, but I don't think he ever took his eyes off the road. So next trip to New Zealand, I think will have to be a bus tour, But I really have to hand it to my hubby, he really did a good job driving. I wouldn't(and didn't) have the nerve.
All in all our 30 days was great, it's just that long trip home, plus catching a cold, has had me finding it very hard catching back-up with the real world.
We booked another cruise while onboard, jujst the cheapest cruise, but as soon as we decide on somthing , we will switch it to that booking. too bad they don't so the open bookings while onboard anymore. :) :) :)
P.S. Marci, wish I were still onboard.....
