So all went pretty well on the trip to Greenland. The night in New York we had dinner with Mary Ellen, Jim, Julie and Marvin. It was a lot of fun and the food was very good. Thanks to Helen who recommended this restaurant. When Ken went to register his credit card on the ship it was not accepted as the name did not match. Turns out Ken had Jims card and Jim had Kens card got switched at the restaurant.
The charter flight was great on an airbus jet. Only 105 of us on a plane not sure how many passengers it can hold but is sure was empty. Nice plane, comfortable seats and a great flight crew. Gorgeous sunny day and no wind when we arrived. Great dinner that night.
Yesterday we were in NUUK. Never been here before and I thought it would be bigger that it turned out to be. We just took the shuttle and got off a the first stop. Then next bus we got on did not stop as it was supposed to do at the Museum. So we got off and walked to the Museum which was an easy walk and nice to be out walking. The museum was very well done. Joe and Janice were with us and last night we ate at Hot Rocks. I like to do that once a trip. It was not too cold. Joe and Janice had not done this before so it was good for them to experience it. Been there now and done that so next time will be in the Kimberleys where it definitely will not be cold.
This afternoon we are going up a fjord with a zodic cruise and then we can get off if we wish and walk to the glacier. Not super sunny but some blue skies in and a little cloudy.
