Also a travel tip from a positive experience: get Apple air tags. I was able to get my “lost†luggage before our ship sailed because I was able to tell the airline where my bag was. It was In Minneapolis per the Apple tags though the airline had no clue since I was never boarded on that flight having been rebooked via Paris.
Also I was comforted on the way home when my Apple tags showed my bags were on my plane after connecting in Heathrow.
