Hola! Peter and I are finally going on our 7 day Rhine river cruise on the Crystal Debussy, sailing from Basel on November 4, to Amsterdam November 11.
Arriving a few days before to spend a few days in Munich, then driving to Schloss Leiser on the Moselle, then on to visiting friends in Luxembourg for a couple of days, then a couple of nights in Strasbourg, then on to Basel for a couple of days before we board the Debussy. After Amsterdam, driving to Berlin to visit a friend, then a couple of days in Nürnberg and finally drive back to the Munich airport to catch the direct flight home.
We were supposed to do this trip last October but we all know what happened!!!
Perhaps travel cannot prevent bigotry, but by demonstrating that all peoples cry, laugh, eat, worry, and die, it can introduce the idea that if we try and understand each other, we may even become friends ~~M. Angelou~~
