Good morning!
Let's start with a recap ...
I'm calling an audible and replacing the first two categories with ones that are super unambiguous.
scrambled movies replaces pass"ages" - I'll give you the scrambled name and you respond with the movie title. I'll also accept any unscramble fascist, upper or lowercase "f," dictator names, if that works out.
sure excursions replaces that's entertainment - I'll give you an image of a famous tourist attraction, scrambled up like a jigsaw puzzle, and you identify it. That's "sure," not "shore," because you'll have to be, to get the points.
There will be a new feature today that I'm calling the
Daily Dreidel. I'll announce that the clue is the Daily Dreidel when we get to it, and then you'll have one hour to post one of these options:
- "all-in," meaning that you are betting all your points on this clue, a true Daily Dreidel!
- "half-in," meaning that you are betting 50% of all your points on this clue
- "not-in," meaning that you are playing for the face value of the clue
- "passing go," meaning that you'll take a credit of 200 points and sit this clue out
After the hour, I'll post the "answer." If you did not choose one of those options, by posting it, then you will be playing for the face value of the clue. Note, there is only one Daily Dreidel.
These are the remaining categories and amounts:
scrambled movies (200, 300, 400, 500)
sure excursions (200, 300, 400, 500)
portmanteau cruise lines (400, 500)
kenjenpourri (100, 200, 300, 400, 500)
You can also see that graphically on drib critic:
https://dribcritic.com/viewtopic.php?f=3&t=1169Unfinished Business-300 points for an incorrect response.
+300 for a correct response.
Several water falls in a line that make the width the same as the height
I think it's brilliant that you saw a math problem in the clue. It's more like an observation than a response, though, so no points, up or down, but there should be a special cookie awarded for the effort.
Scoreboard:
Fogmalkin: +1400 Davefr: +502 Freddie: +410 Mrs. Marc: +300 Marc: +200 Seadog: +200 petlover]: +0 Ms Understood: -200 A reminder that, still,
everyone can play, and that, still,
anyone can still win! We only went through half the clues yesterday, exactly fifteen out of thirty.
And finally, we'll begin the day with one of the new categories,
scrambled movies for 200.
I'll be back about 10 am, Pacific. Walkies!
