So glad you all are having a wonderful start to your adventure. In 2014, Crystal and I took this trip. We stopped at the same llama and alpaca santuary. I found it diffucult to decide what to buy in the shop. Too many pretty things. I was amazed at the number of different potatoes grown in Peru. Who knew there were so many varieties!!

Ngaire, it's sad to hear that Sol Y Luna's rooms are not up to your expectations. Our casita was lovely and we wished we could have stayed longer. I remember the coffee at breakfast being amazing.

You all are going to love Machu Picchu. I will also recommend that little bench that Pam mentioned. It's a great place to take in the site.

If you get a chance, you can get your passport stamped at the entrance of Machu Picchu.

Then on the the Galapagos!!!!! I think Javiar is your expedition leader. We remember him as one of your favorite guides. He grew up in and around the islands as his dad was a boat captain. I hope he tells you his Steven Spielberg story!

Loving all the pictures, Ken. Thanks so much for posting these. It brings back wonderful memories of our time there.
