Thanks for all your information. It helped. I have only booked the ship's tour to Borobudur . It goes via train part of the way. My other ports in Indonesia are Tanjung Priok, Jakarta; Probolinggo, Java; Ujung Padang, Sulawasi; Lembar, Lombok; and Benoa (Denpasar), Bali.
I like the idea of a private tour in Bali and will look into that. Any other suggestions would be great
