Why is it we sail Regent?

A third of excursions we are paying (a lot) extra and HALF of the free excursions are already wait listed. Add to that there are no snorkeling excursion in Maldives and only a few minutes of snorkeling in Seychelles; why do we choose Regent wherein we are paying for excursions up front?? Don't get me started on the $1,000+ that just showed up on my credit card.



BTW, why does Oceania site have excursions for Praslin (including snorkeling) but nothing on Regent?

BTW again, why does Regent have only 24 air gateways (seems half of them are in Florida) whilst Oceania has over 80 air gateways? Don't they use the same staff in Miami?
