Thanks Helen. We're fine.

Patriots' Day, for those who don't know, is a Massachusetts state holiday commemorating Paul Revere's ride April 18, but is always on a Monday. The day starts with a dawn reenactment of the Lexington and Concord battle in Minute Man National Historical Park. The Red Sox play the only MLB game played in the morning, starting at 11, which ended in a walk-off win for the Red Sox. And of course the 117th running of the world oldest marathon. It was a beautify day with great weather for the runners unlike the temps in the 80s last year. We watched on TV until the elite runners finished. Then I watched on-line the time of a guy from Houston we met in Vail at Christmas. He finished in good time, 20 minutes before the explosions. Then the day changes in an instant turning deadly and terrifying. I had been focusing on some work until I got the text from the NYT and went to the kitchen to turn on the TV.
