You really don't need a tour guide in HK. Do it on your own and use public transportation; ie ferry and bus/tram. If you want a good how to and what to e-mail me back channel and I'll send you my trip report from our last visit to HK. You'll find the city safe and the people very nice. You can book the outer areas( Lantau, Macao, etc ) thru Greyline or one of those tour agencies once you get there. If you're over 65 you pay next to nothing for public transportation.
