ciociara cruiser C Joined: Sep 2006 Posts: 15 Ontario	Lynn: Three years ago we were in Venice during Carnivale and we stayed at the Pensione Accademia Villa Maravege. I believe it was a Russian Embassy many years ago and we thought it was charming. The website is www.pensioneaccademia.it In spite of the throngs of people and partiers, we walked everywhere and never felt unsafe. Susan
