Pat & I saw the movie yesterday and it is excellent. It follows the book very closely. The director grew up with the author in Jackson and he's an Ole Miss graduate. He got the movie filmed in Greenwood, MS to keep it from being "Hollywoodized" and it works. The scenery & houses are real rather than stage sets. Go see it.
