Did you know that out of an 80 hour normal pay period Fireman work 120 hours a 2 week pay period, including sleeping time away from home "not including overtime," with an average fireman in the U.S. making about $45,000 a year (and thats probably on the high side/the average hourly rate is between $6-$7.00 an hour, and Fireman have the highest divorce rate in the U.S. next to air traffic contollers.
