We got the remnants of IKE up here. I didn't have any power or phone for 44 hours. We had a lot of rain, to flooding levels on Sat., then high winds on Sunday, but no weather warnings. Then, just when the Browns Steelers game came on, they announced hight wind advisory with gusts to 65 miles (actually went to 70), and as soon as they did, power went out. There are still many people without power, so I am grateful mine came back about 5PM last night. The downed trees were unbelievable, but I was lucky, one large branch and lots of little ones, no damage. The weather service really blew it...no advanced warning.
