Gil, if you're in business class on AA or ATN, they probably aren't going to bother you about your carry ons. I almost always have a roll aboard, my back pack plus a purse or computer bag--nobody has ever said anything. The only problem you might have is if you are trying to also carry on some oversized item that won't fit in the overheads, but it doesn't sound like you're doing that. Have a good trip!
