It seems like FEMA has really dropped the ball on this one. My neighbor is a pilot for American Airlines. AA called FEMA and offered to fly planes in full of supplies and carry refugees out. FEMA's response? Nothing. Didn't even acknowledge the offer.

Did anyone hear the interview with the mayor of New Orleans last night? In his own words he is "pissed". Poor guy seems to be at the end of his rope and I can certainly see why. Someone needs to take charge down there.

Refugees continue to come to North Texas, we have about 23 here at our hospital in McKinney. I imagine more will come.
